ERIC ROBERTS NAMED PRESIDENT OF NORTEK'S CES GROUP, INC.
PROVIDENCE, RI, July 8, 2008—Nortek, Inc. today announced the appointment of Eric Roberts as President of Nortek’s CES Group, Inc.Roberts succeeds David Huntley, who has retired, as the leader of Nortek’s custom commercial HVAC business, a major segment of the international company’s portfolio of high-quality branded building products. Roberts will join the Company on July 21, 2008.Richard L. Bready, Chairman and CEO of Nortek, said, “Eric brings to the CES Group a solid, proven track record of driving outstanding results in the commercial HVAC business, most recently as Chief Operating Officer of McQuay Americas.” Bready particularly cited Roberts’ managerial ability “to grow a business through customer-focused leadership.”Prior to 1997 when he joined McQuay, a global HVAC leader, Roberts was Director of Marketing of the Mobile Business Group of Onan Corporation, a division of Cummins Engine Company. Roberts joined Cummins after graduation from Michigan State University with an economics degree and Yale University with an MBA.The CES Group includes the custom commercial HVAC businesses of Nortek’s subsidiaries with manufacturing operations in the United States, Canada, Europe and Asia.
